Come along to the next edition of The Hague English Comedy Night with a number of stand-up comedians from around the world performing in English. The next show is on Saturday, 13 April at Theater Branoul.
Canadian comedian Joe Eagan brings different comedians to The Hague from around the world to entertain you in English. The monthly comedy series is organised by InternationalComedians.com.
Each show has 2 headliner professional acts, an MC and sometimes surprise support acts.
The funny people in April are:
Rory O’Hanlon (Ireland) – Rory’s observational syle of of comedy has made him a instant hit with crowds up and down the country. Rory performs at every venue in Ireland from the world famous Comedy Cellar, the International, Laughter Lounge, The Empire Belfast while also becoming a firm favourite in the legendary Stand in both Glasgow and Edinburgh where hes has performed at The Best of Irish at the Edinburgh Fringe for the last 3 years.
Pauly Russell (Scotland) – While Pauly Russell views himself a complex, philosophical and well-considered man, those who know him describe him as a belligerent drunk Scottish ass. This conflict of self-identity, mixed with his harsh reality, at least enables him to muse in a relatively entertaining fashion on the various happenings and mishappenings of his life.
Bonus act (only 19.00 and 21.00 hrs. showtimes)
Kendra Borgen (USA) – Born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra started playing saxophone at age 8 inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian hi-way to study music in Oregon, she finally left the US in 2004 in search of a better life and bought a 1-way ticket to Amsterdam. In the need to pay rent, she started guiding people around the city and now performs comedy by night.
