Beer brewery
The 7th edition of the Dutch Beer Tasting Festival is the opening event for the Week of Dutch Beer, which takes place from 24 May to 1 June. During the festival more than 40 Dutch breweries will present their diverse range of beers to the public and you can sign up for a master class.

Beer lovers can learn more about the brewing process, beer types and the illustrious history of beer in the Netherlands during one of the master classes.

Dutch beer
The Netherlands has more than 400 different breweries spread throughout all provinces. While the majority of beer consumed in the Netherlands is pilsner, the current revival of micro-breweries shows a strong interest in new styles of lagers and particularly ales with their wide variety of flavours. These new Dutch beers will be well presented during the festival.

Every season brings its own beers, from heavy winter beers to blonde lentebocken and fresh summer beers, to the most celebrated Dutch seasonal beer, the autumn bock. Discover what Dutch breweries have to offer during the Dutch Beer Festival.

Other beer-related festivities during the Week of Dutch Beer will include Dutch Brewery Days, competitions, taster evenings, regional festivals, and beer and gastronomic activities. The festival is an initiative of Stichting Week van het Nederlandse Bier.
